Technical supervision of containers

The Register in Ukraine is a competent body and carries out the technical supervision over containers for general cargoes, isothermal containers, tank containers, platform containers, off-shore containers, etc.

Due to the fact that a container if a transport means for the carriage of goods not only within the boundaries of one country, but among countries, it shall not only be standard in sizes, but also safe for the service personnel during its transportation. It is achieved due to its structure, applied materials and strength. To prove these facts the plate of conformity with the International convention on safe containers of 1972 (SCC), which is issued by the competent body is secured to a container, that is an evidence that the container complies with this convention and is issued by the competent body of one’s own country.

The technical supervision is carried out on the basis of the Register rules regarding containers that comprise: general provisions of the technical supervision of containers; the Rules of container manufacture; the Rules of admission of containers for the carriage of goods under custom seals and leads; the Rules of the technical supervision of container manufacture; the Rules of the technical supervision of containers in operation.

The documents issued by the Register based on the results of the technical supervision of containers, allow to use containers in international circulation and carry them by water, railway and road transport.

Prior to the start of rendering services, the Customer shall address the Register with an application in any form for the technical supervision of containers.
