Certification for the conformity with the Maritime Labor Convention

The Ukrainian Shipping Register has got a commission from the Flag Administration, that joined the Maritime Labor Convention of 2006: Cooks Islands, United Republic of Tanzania, Palau. Vessels flying the flag of the Union of the Comoros, Ukraine, Cameroon may be certified for the conformity with the provisions of Maritime Labor Convention on a voluntary basis. At the same time it should be taken into consideration that the Union of the Comoros and Cameroon issue the Declaration of the conformity with labor standards in maritime shipping – Part I, the maritime Administration of Ukraine does not issue Part I of the Declaration. The Ukrainian shipping Register also carries out voluntary certification of companies engaged in the employment of seafarers, with the issuance of a respective certificate.
