The Ukrainian shipping Register, as an organisation that meets the requirements of the Code of recognised organisations (Resolutions MSC.349(92) and MEPC.237(65)), has an extensive experience in rendering services for the certification of shipping Companies and ships for the conformity with ICSM requirements. The Ukrainian shipping Register has been authorised to carry out ICSM certification activities by maritime administrations of the Union of the Comoros, Cook’s Islands, United Republic of Tanzania, Palau, Ukraine, Cameroon (holding inspections under individual instructions).
The Register may also perform certification for the conformity with ICSM requirements on behalf of other maritime Administrations, not listed above, upon prior agreement with them:
- Certification of shipping companies and vessels for compliance with ICSM requirements on behalf of various maritime administrations (mandatory certification)
- Certification of shipping companies and vessels not covered by the requirements of Chapter IX of SOLAS-74 Convention as amended for the conformity with ICSM requirements (voluntary certification)
- Expertise and approval of the Documents on the conformity and certificates for safety management (SMС)
- Issuance and validation of Certificates of Conformity and Safety Management Certificates
- Certification of organisations that carry out ISMS experts training and/or render consulting services on ICSM.
